I had brunch at Dotori Garden! 🐿️
I was curious about the acorn-shaped bread that J-Hope gave to SUGA, so I went to the cafe that sells the bread with my friend. The cafe has two branches in Seoul, Anguk(Jongno District) and Sinyongsan(near the HYBE building). I went to the Anguk branch.
As I walked into a small alley, there was a cute vintage house hidden in the corner.
Cute signs in a front yard. I felt like I was invited to a house in an animation.
Do you see these adorable ACORNS? There are various flavors: matcha-pistachio, lemon-mint, chocolate, earl grey and more.
The sandwiches, yogurt bowls, and brunch set also looked delicious, so I ordered them all. (Surprisingly, two of us finished them all!)
I got there around 9 a.m on a weekend. And the place became full before 10 a.m. I recommend you get a table first before ordering food. We sat on the outdoor table on the 1st floor.
Guess what? It turned out that the cute acorn bread was a madeleine! It was delicious but the texture was a bit dry for me (I prefer chewy and moist madeleines.)
I loved the strawberry yogurt bowl and the Tomato Onion Basil Crunch! There are many other types of desserts, so if you visit there, you should definitely try them :-)
I was little bit shy in the middle of the crowd, but I couldn't leave out the Yejeol-shot.

The 2nd floor also looked good because I was able to see the scenery of Jongno in Seoul.
Anguk is a unique area with a mix of tall buildings and old Hanok houses. I really love this neighborhood so I actually tried to move in a Korean style house near here. But the sad thing is, the houses in this area are really expensive!:(
Oh well, it’s okay. There must be at least one perfect place for me, right?
